Homeless Acceptance Today

The day and age we live in is a hard one, especially financially. The lack of jobs in America,is one of the main reasons the population of  homeless is growing. There are a lot of mixed feeling about the homeless, and their acceptance in America. given my experience with them in my life, I have mixed reviews about them as well. I have seen homeless people with their children on the streets, and my heart goes out to them, but then I wonder exactly how they got there.

-these two points can be developed into their own sections with more explanation an information.  Consider how our discussion on how negative stereotypes are created and the extent to which they influence is tied to this idea of when we help or don't help, interact and don't interact with those who are homeless.
-a new section about negative stereotypes may be helpful to situate these two ideas you have below
I have seen plenty of people end up homeless due to unfortunate circumstances. when I hear from people like that I do wish that there was more help for them and that the government would be more compassionate towards the homeless who just want a place to sleep for the night, or an easier way to provide for their family.

I have also seen homeless who I don't really have any sympathy for they are homeless because they have chosen to let drug and alcohol take over their lives. i understand that addictions are hard to break, but living on the streets and asking for money from people who work for it, is not right.

I interviewed a homeless man named John Rogers- make sure you have correct infoWaters, who is also a Vietnam veteran. He was very polite and seemed content and happy with his life. when i asked what made him decide to enlist, he told me it was because of his brother. John became very emotional discussing his brother, "he did everything for me, i looked up to him." John said. We began talking about Vietnam and how it effected him. When i asked about his family, he didnt really mention as to where his family is today, which made me wonder if being homeless was something he brought upon himeself. i do feel for him and possibly suffering with PTSD, but has he not tried to better his life? - what purpose does John serve in your article?  What is the purpose of your article?
